CSS MPT 2027 Result — When, Where & How to Check on FPSC
CSS MPT 2027 Result FPSC — What We Know So Far
The short answer
As of the morning of 21 October 2026, no FPSC announcement of the CSS MPT 2027 result was found. The Federal Public Service Commission held the MCQ-Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the CSS Competitive Examination 2027 on Saturday 10 October 2026, and FPSC posted the answer keys the same day. The result itself has no fixed date in the rules, and it appears on the FPSC website only — FPSC does not send individual intimation to candidates. This CSS MPT 2027 result FPSC hub will be updated the day FPSC posts the result. Until then, treat any specific result date or pass count circulating on unofficial pages as unverified.
Where to check — and only there
When the result is announced, check it on the FPSC website, fpsc.gov.pk, in its results / notices section for the CSS Competitive Examination 2027 (MPT). That is the authoritative source. Keep your admission-certificate details to hand, and follow exactly the checking method the FPSC notice itself gives — do not trust a result shown only on a third-party page, a social-media post, or a page that asks for payment to reveal a result.
A warning worth repeating: an unofficial result page has been circulating with specific pass figures. No other source corroborates those figures, and they do not fit a qualifying screen whose only cutoff is 66 out of 200. This hub deliberately does not repeat them. If a figure is not on fpsc.gov.pk, it is not a result.
CSS MPT 2027 result FPSC: the pass mark — and what it does and does not mean
The MPT pass mark is 66 out of 200 marks — 33 percent. That is the whole story on “merit”: there is no expected merit list beyond 66, because the MPT is a qualifying screen, not a merit examination.
- Scoring 66 or above qualifies you to apply for the CSS 2027 written examination. Your MPT score itself is not counted toward your final merit.
- Scoring below 66 does not consume a CSS attempt. Appearing in the MPT does not count as a written-examination chance, so a candidate who does not qualify can return for a later cycle.
- Qualifying in the MPT does not itself submit a written-examination application. The written application is a separate step, in its own window (see below).
While you wait — what to do now
Do not wait for the result before working. The written examination begins on 27 January 2027, and the application window in November interrupts preparation, so the waiting weeks are written-preparation weeks.
- Score yourself from the official answer key against your carbon copy, question by question. Count each correct answer as one mark out of 200 and compare the total with 66. If a question is disputed, count it both ways and keep a range rather than a single claimed score.
- If you are at or above 66 on your own count, start the documents checklist now: attested educational documents, CNIC, domicile, and photographs are the usual hard-copy bundle, with the exact list to be confirmed by the 8 November advertisement.
- If you are below 66, keep the written syllabus work going anyway — the ground it tests is the same ground the next MPT and the written papers test, and the attempt is not lost.
What happens next — the dates that are already fixed
These dates come from the FPSC advance notice of 5 July 2026, which calls the schedule tentative, and from the reporting of that notice. The MPT date itself already moved once (27 September to 10 October), so treat every date below as subject to the FPSC advertisement.
- Written-examination advertisement: 8 November 2026. This is the document that confirms the real fee, payment method, and document list. Do not treat any fee or payment method as confirmed for 2027 before this advertisement appears.
- Online applications for the written examination: 10–25 November 2026.
- Hard copy of the application with documents: by 4 December 2026.
- Written examination begins: 27 January 2027.
When the advertisement lands on 8 November, this site will publish a confirmed-details application post based on the advertisement itself, and this hub will be updated to point to it.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a fixed MPT result date?
No. The rules give no fixed date, and no credible date has been announced. The result appears on fpsc.gov.pk only.
I scored 66 exactly — do I qualify?
Yes, on the stated rule: 66 out of 200 is the qualifying mark. Your own count from the answer key is an estimate until FPSC publishes its list.
Is there an “expected merit” for MPT 2027?
No. MPT scores do not count to final merit and there is no merit cutoff beyond 66. Any page publishing a merit list for MPT 2027 is inventing one.
I did not qualify — have I lost an attempt?
No. Appearing in the MPT does not consume a written-examination attempt.
What if I qualified but miss the application window?
Qualifying in the MPT does not carry forward automatically. The written application must be submitted inside the 10–25 November window, with the hard copy by 4 December.
