Answer Key + Explained Answers:

Q1 – B) Courageous. “Brave” means courageous. “Cowardly / Weak / Shy” are not synonyms.

Q2 – B) Poor. “Rich” means wealthy. Its antonym is “Poor.” “Wealthy / Affluent / Prosperous” are near-synonyms.

Q3 – B) Beautiful. Correct spelling: B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. “Beautifull” doubles L; “Beutiful” misses A; “Beautful” misses I.

Q4 – B) To say exactly the right thing. “To hit the nail on the head” means to be exactly right, not literally to hammer.

Q5 – B) Al-Baqarah. Surah Al-Baqarah (Chapter 2, 286 verses) is the longest Surah. Al-Fatiha is shortest by verses (7); Al-Imran is Chapter 3 (200 verses); Al-Kahf is Chapter 18 (110 verses).

Q6 – B) 4. Fajr has 2 Sunnah + 2 Fard = 4 Rakats total. (Dhuhr: 4 Sunnah + 4 Fard + 2 Sunnah + 2 Nafl = 12; Asr: 4 Sunnah + 4 Fard = 8; Maghrib: 3 Fard + 2 Sunnah + 2 Nafl = 7; Isha: 4 Sunnah + 4 Fard + 2 Sunnah + 2 Nafl + 3 Witr = 17.)

Q7 – D) Zil Hajj. Zil Hajj (Dhul Hijjah) is the 12th and last month. Muharram is 1st, Ramadan 9th, Shawwal 10th.

Q8 – B) Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA). Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA) was the first Caliph (11–13 AH). Umar was second, Uthman third, Ali fourth.

Q9 – B) Iqbal. “Bang-e-Dra” (1924) is Allama Iqbal’s poetry collection. Ghalib, Faiz, and Mir have their own Diwans / collections.

Q10 – A) Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. “Shah Jo Risalo” is the work of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (Sindhi Sufi poet). Sachal, Bulleh Shah, and Waris Shah are other poets.

Q11 – A) A form of poetry made of rhyming couplets, often about love/longing. A Ghazal consists of independent couplets (sher) sharing a rhyme and refrain. It is not a novel, biography, or play.

Q12 – A) A poem on a single theme (with a unified subject). A Nazm is a poem on one theme, with connected verses. A Ghazal’s couplets are independent; a Nazm’s verses are connected. It is not a story or column.

Q13 – B) Rs 30. One pen = 180 ÷ 6 = Rs 30.

Q14 – C) 60. Each term subtracts 10: 100 – 10 = 90, 90 – 10 = 80, 80 – 10 = 70, 70 – 10 = 60.

Q15 – C) 45. 15% of 300 = 0.15 × 300 = 45.
